What a great weekend! A whole heap of activity so I will summarise the highlights:
- Winning gold at the quartet contest. Always a great feeling and we posted our highest scores ever.
- The CD launch. It was great to get the finished product into our hands finally and to get them out to the public. What? You haven’t ordered your very own copy yet?!!
- Riding the train to Mandurah with a bunch of other barbershoppers and singing to a somewhat stunned captive audience.
- Singing at the Showcase Concert on Saturday night and watching our baritone Richard stage manage and MC much of the show as well as performing with Vocal Evolution as well. Top job Richard!

We will be taking advantage of the events during this weekend’s AAMBS Western Region Convention to launch our new CD ‘Anthem’ and we hope to see you there. You can catch us over the coming weekend at:

- Saturday 21 June – 3.00pm, AAMBS Western Region Quartet Contest
St Stephen’s School, 100 Doveridge Drive, Duncraig
Youth and women’s sessions begin at 10.00am with the men’s contest session beginning at 3.00pm.
- Saturday 21 June – 7.30pm, Showcase Concert
Christian City Church Hepburn Heights
31 Chadlington Drive, Padbury, 7.30pm start, tickets available at the door.
- Sunday 22 June, Convention Closing Lunch

We will have plenty of stock of the CD on hand for $20.00 a copy. You can of course order the CD via the website if you can’t make it to the launch and we wil be most happy to send one to you in the post.
